The publishing house built for the authors big publishing ignores

USA Publishing House is an American book publishing company in Norcross, Georgia. Since 2017 we've published 1,200+ authors — most of them over 50, most of them first-timers, nearly all of them told "no" or "not you" by the industry first. This page is who we are, why we exist, and the promises we put in writing.

Why we started, in plain words

In 2017, the founders of USA Publishing House kept meeting the same author. She was 63, she'd finished a memoir, and she had two options. Option one: query literary agents for years and probably never hear back — the big houses take roughly 1–2% of manuscripts. Option two: hand $8,000 to a "publisher" she found online and hope. Too often, the hoping ended badly. Fees that grew after signing. Rights quietly signed away. Royalties skimmed. Phone numbers that stopped answering.

So we built the company we wished she'd found. A real office in Norcross, Georgia. Prices published on the website, not hidden behind a sales call. A person — the same person — who answers the phone from 1pm to 11pm ET, seven days a week.

We built it specifically for the authors the industry overlooks: writers publishing their first book at 55, 65, 75. Grandparents with a children's story they've told a hundred times out loud. Pastors and faith writers with a testimony. Veterans with a war behind them and no patience for runaround. If you're not tech-savvy, that's fine — authors have mailed us handwritten pages and read chapters to us over the phone. The process bends to you.

Where the 3 promises came from

Every scam story we heard broke in one of the same few places. The price changed after payment. The rights or royalties weren't really the author's. The book published — or didn't — without the author's say. So we wrote our contract as the direct answer to those failures, and we've repeated the same lines to every author since:

Those three lines aren't marketing. They're the contract terms — and they're the same three tests we tell authors to run on any company, including us.

What we believe, without the corporate polish

Answer the phone

Most of what's wrong with this industry disappears when a real person picks up. So we pick up — 1pm–11pm ET, every day.

Say the price out loud

Companies that hide prices are telling you something. Ours are on the website: $699 to $7,999, one payment.

The book belongs to the author

Rights, royalties, the files, all of it. We're a service you hired — not a publisher who owns you.

Never rush an author

About 60 days is typical, but your approvals set the pace. We don't promise calendar dates, because rushed books show it forever.

“I asked every scam-test question I'd read about — price in writing, rights in the contract, a real office I could call. They passed all of them, then published my book beautifully.”

Questions people ask about us

Is USA Publishing House a traditional publisher?

No, and we'll never pretend otherwise. We're a publishing services company: you pay once ($699–$7,999), we do the editing, cover, ISBN, and publishing on Amazon and up to 20+ stores — and you keep 100% of rights and royalties. Here's exactly what we do →

Where are you located? Can I visit?

6010 Singleton Rd, STE 213-109, Norcross, GA 30093 — in the Atlanta metro. Yes, you can visit by appointment; plenty of Georgia authors do. Everyone else works with us by phone and mail, from all 50 states.

How do I know you're not one of the scams?

Don't take our word for it — test us. Ask for the price in writing (you'll get it before paying). Read the contract line where rights and royalties stay 100% yours. Call (229) 518-4453 and see if a person answers. Then look our authors' books up on Amazon.

Who do you work with best?

First-time authors, most of them 50 and up. Memoirists, children's authors, faith writers, veterans. If you want a big-house advance and a shot at the Big Five, we're honestly not your path — query agents first. If you want your book done right, at a price you saw before paying, that's us. Unfinished manuscript? We work in drafts, and ghostwriting starts at $1,600.

Now you know us.
